Description
Desi A2 Rathi Cow Ghee, prepared with love for a healthy you.
Love of India's Desi A2 Rathi Cow Ghee is prepared using the traditional ‘Bilona’ method and is a vital source of holistic nourishment and taste.
It's the Finest ghee made from A2 milk, using the Vedic process of churning yogurt and filtering as mentioned in Ayurveda. Being 100% natural, Love of India’s Desi Rathi Cow A2 ghee is perfect for everyday cooking.
Our 300+ A2 Rathi Cows graze freely in open pastures, allowing them to select their own fodder. The presence of herbal plants and nutritional diets like Corn, Jowar, Bajra, Makka, Groundnut crushings, and others in the cow’s diet has a significant impact on both the milk and ghee.
**Please note that the aroma, flavor, and color of A2 Rathi Cow Ghee may vary from batch to batch, as it is prepared in small batches with yogurt set in earthen pots under manual supervision. Moreover, cow fodder changes frequently depending on climatic conditions, which can result in changes to the properties of the milk and its products.
Making Process
Our A2 milk comes from Desi Rathi cows and through a 28-litre to 1-litre ratio, we are able to produce 1 litre of Love of India’s pure and desi A2 ghee. This ghee is made by the Vedic process as described in Ayurveda to retain all the nutrients for our consumers.
Fresh A2 milk from desi Rathi cows is obtained. (The calves receive the mother’s milk first and the cows are fed natural fodder and are also left to graze freely in the fields.)
The A2 milk is then boiled and the curd is set in earthen pots. This process helps in increasing the CLA(Conjugated linoleic acid) percentage in the ghee, which is considered an important component due to its potential health benefits.
The curd is then churned bi-directionally at a controlled speed (Bilona Method) to yield the yummy butter while also ensuring that all the nutrients are retained.
Our team prides itself on using only the best quality ingredients available. The butter is heated on a natural wood fire ("Chullah") on a low flame to yield golden ghee...
We use copper and stainless steel utensils (No use of Aluminium Utensils). This attention to detail ensures that our customers enjoy the best and healthiest possible product.
We follow Hindu Traditions (Sutak) i.e. if any cow gives birth to a calf, we do not use its milk for the next 15 days, which makes our Ghee suitable for Holy Rituals, Puja, etc as well.
The A2 Rathi Cow Ghee is free of any added preservatives and chemicals which makes it completely shuddh, natural, authentic & healthy

Not necessarily. Crystallisation is a natural behaviour of honey and can vary by floral source and temperature. It is not, by itself, a sign of spoilage.
